The "Allen Ray"

The Allen Ray is a 48 foot Uni-Flight Motor Yacht. The Allen Ray had major upgrades and was designed specifically for extended day charters.

  • The Allen Ray is equipped with four total state rooms and two full bathrooms.

  • One guest state room has four bunks and an adjoining full bathroom. We call it the family room and it is the largest state room.

  • The second guest state room has a twin and a single bunk in it with an adjoining full bathroom.

  • All state rooms have hanging closets in them.

  • There is a two bunk state room for the crew and a captain's bunk in the wheel house.

The Allen Ray is also equipped with a full galley and saloon with barrel chairs, an L-shaped couch (which seats five), and a table. We also offer the use of a refrigerator and sink in the saloon for our guests.

When you step out of saloon, you will find yourself on a 10 foot x 12 foot covered and raised deck; enclosed from the weather, but still with a view of your surroundings and any fishing action.

The fishing cockpit is only a step down and at 6 feet x 14 feet, there's plenty of room for fishing.

We offer a 12 foot tender vessel with an outboard to go to the beach and back with.

The Allen Ray was built for comfort with each state room having its own heat control and 75% of the yacht being dry and secluded from any negative weather elements. We are equipped with safety and survival equipment well beyond the C.G. requirements. The Allen Ray is Equipped with nine fire extinguishers, an emergency locater beacon, survival raft, satellite phone, hand held radios, flares, life jackets, and emersion suits.

The Allen Ray boasts a 20 gallon an hour fresh water maker on board; shortage of water is never a issue. In the wheel house, the Captain has state of the art electronics. There is a stretch around couch for seating for five plus two bucket chairs with a 360 degree view from the wheel house. There is also a captain's bunk in the wheel house.

The Allen Ray is powered by Twin Volvo Penta Diesel engines and has a 12 KW generator. It holds 700 Gallons of Fuel and 160 gallons of fresh water plus a 20 gallons an hour fresh water maker. The boat is named after Allen Ray Swoboda of College Station, Texas.
